CSV

A file type, acronym for Comma Separated Values. It’s a simple format that stores table data as plain text. In its raw form, commas separate each value, though when opened in Excel or Google Sheets it appears like any other spreadsheet. It is the most common and cleanest way to store data, especially for transferring data between systems.
