Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is a record on your domain that lists which services are allowed to send emails using your organization's address. Nonprofits often send emails from several tools at the same time (Google Workspace, email marketing platform, a CRM, etc.) and each one needs to be listed. Leave a service off your SPF list and the emails it sends are likely to end up in spam.

An invisible signature on each email. SPF checks who sent it, DKIM check that the message is genuine.

DMARC

Tells inboxes what to do with mail that fails SPF or DKIM. They can either report it, send it to spam, or reject it entirely.
