Slack is a great communications tool. For many nonprofits it's a tool that can bring a semblance of a work-life balance. Many nonprofits. especially Jewish and Israel based ones, live on WhatsApp and have no way to keep work separate from their personal lives. It's similar enough to whatsapp that onboarding can be pretty simple to start with, and their generous offer for nonprofits makes it almost a no-brainer for teams looking for a dedicated work communications platform.
