Gantt Chart

A project timeline that shows tasks or projects as vertical bars across the time to complete them, shown vertically, often as a calendar. It shows both the timeline for each project and how they overlap with one another. Different project management tools offer the ability to make a Gantt chart and have differing levels of detail. Sometime you can also see more details like task statuses, subitems and dependencies.
